Gary was a retired metallurgical engineer who resided in Ancaster, Ontario. He always had a keen interest in drawing and painting, had studied with numerous artists over the past 31 years, and had been on many painting trips within Canada, France, Italy, and the United States.

He sold his original paintings and reproductions worldwide and had work accepted and recognized in several juried exhibitions as well as appearing in the International Artist magazine. He was a member of the Central Ontario Art Association, Six Degrees of Freedom, Lakeside Pumphouse Artists Association and was a docent at the Art Gallery of Hamilton.

Gary passed away December 2nd, 2013.
